I am a sucker for memories like these. If I wasn't out every night with you guys, I'd be making these minutes for my own family. I am pretty lucky to have this job. It's a lot of work, but when I go back and look at the artwork I made, I realize that nothing else will bring my heart the joy that being an artist does. It's been one heck of a busy summer so far. Family photos on the beach in Ocean City New Jersey has become the thing I do most in my career and I am not unhappy about it. Hahaha. It usually comes with ice cream and maybe pizza if parking isn't too bad. This summer is a little different than last for a couple reasons. One, after about a half year or more in physical therapy, the vertigo has become less debilitating. I still am not 100%, but I am feeling better. And two, I hired a permanent assistant!!! Game changer, people!! She not only makes me feel better about driving (since I am not alone, should the vertigo come back) but she helps in countless ways while we are on the beach in Ocean City NJ carrying lenses and quilts while making the kids happy. Ahhhh it's the one thing I should have done long ago, but I really couldn't afford it. Since she's been with me, I have bigger thoughts about what kind of projects I can take on. It's like she replaced the part of me that was sick and I am getting back to my old self, knowing that help is right there. How did I ever run this thing all by myself for 22 years?? Crazy, right? So anyhow I wanted to pop in and share this family photo shoot on the beach in Ocean City New Jersey. A gorgeous evening at the Jersey Shore with a gorgeous family.
