Ahhhh, it feels so good to get back to photography a bit after my recent health scare. I swear, I could not have related to anyone who said they have vertigo until I got it myself. It is a very scary thing! I spent one week in bed sicker than ever, one week slowly hobbling around and this week finally feels a lot better yet! I drove for the first time yesterday and I do feel like I am starting to be back to myself every day. The anxiety of it returning is unimaginable! Like I said, to everyone who has this illness, I feel your pain now. I know what this does to a person's life. All the while I was unable to move, I dreamed of holding my camera gain. There's no doubt how much I love being a photographic artist. So I am starting slow but happily getting back to my job as a memory maker. When a local photographer heard about my health situation, she offered to help me get through the photo sessions that could not be pushed back. Well, it was AMAZING to work with Nicole Saunders from Kaleidoscope Imagery. A few lucky clients got to have two photographers for their sessions and well, you'll see the incredible imagery that the two of us made. If there was a way to have her full time, I'd LOVE it! Hopefully tho, this horrible illness stays away from me from now on and I can get back to this wonderful little business of mine. I can't thank all of you enough for not only asking how I have been but being understanding about rescheduling your sessions. It means the world that you choose my artistry.
Historic Smithville NJ is only a few minutes away from my studio. It was the perfect place to photograph a second birthday milestone with this adorable family. Miss Z came dressed in the perfect birthday tutu, and she loved exploring Smithville NJ! We had a lot of rain lately but luck was on our side this day, just look at the beautiful sun drenched images Nicole and I were able to get! I must admit I am kinda jealous of these images. Before I got sick, I had my own photo session scheduled that I had to postpone until I am on my feet better. Now I can't wait to have my own dreamy photos like these to hang all over the house!
